Carlos Eduardo De Fiori Mendes has been named the BOV Premier League player of the month for the second successive time.

Thirty-one year old Cadu’ took responsibility of a free-kick just outside the box in the 87th minute of their match against Birkirkara. With Kaljevic levelling the game at 1-1 three minutes earlier, De Fiori Mendex unleashed a low drive that flew past the stripes wall to finish behind the Birkirkara keeper.

The Brazilian midfielder was also nominated as the ‘BOV Player of the Match’ in Balzan’s 1-0 victory over Senglea to keep them at the top of the table jointly with Valletta.

Bernard Azzopardi, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s Birkirkara Branch presented the BOV Player of the Month Trophy for November 2017 to Cadu` who again chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
