Shaun Attard is the BOV GFA Player of the Month for November 2017

The Nadur Youngsters forward scored one of the goals and contributed in each goal in Nadur’s 5-0 victory over SK Victoria Wanderers in the BOV GFA League during November. He also scored the only goal in the BOV GFA Cup qualifier, also against SK Victoria Wanderers to advance in this competition.

23 year old Attard, joined Nadur Youngsters in January 2017 and immediately found his place in the first eleven. This season, Nadur are vying for all major honours in Gozitan Football, with Attard featuring among the top in the scorers list.

Shaun started his career with Victoria Hotspurs and also played for Oratory Youths and SK Victoria Wanderers. Although he has won numerous awards in the junior categories, he is still seeking to win his first major award.

Horace Laudi, regional manager for Gozo at Bank of Valletta presented the BOV GFA Player of the Month trophy to the player during one of the team’s training session. Attard chose Fondazzjoni Arka to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
