BOV Gozo Football League First Division leaders Victoria Hotspurs keep marching on as they defeated Nadur Youngsters 3-1 at the Gozo Stadium on Sunday,

Elton da Silva was the hero for the Hotspurs with a hat-trick on the 23rd, 41st and 70th with Stanimir Miloskovic scoring a consolation goal on the 77th minute.

In another match, Ghajnsielem were held in a 2-2 draw by Oratory Youths. Luis Andre De Melo Lima put the Blacks ahead on the 42nd minute and Everton Felipe Sa Silva Santos equalised three minutes later. Panagiotis Papadakis reduced the gap on the 68th and went on to equalise nine minutes from time.

Meanwhile in the BOV Gozo Football League Second Division, Sannat Lions collected three precious points in a 2-0 win over St. Lawrence Spurs at the Kercem Ajax Stadium on Saturday.

Antoine Camilleri put Sannat ahead on the 5th minute with Matthew Portelli doubling the score on the 27th.

In another match, Zebbug Rovers and Qala Saints shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw. Modibo Niakate gave Qala the lead on the 37th but five minutes later, Patrick Camilleri equalised. Three minutes later, Joseph Attard restored the lead for the Saints. Ryan Grech levelled matters ten minutes from time and Chris Borg put Zebbug ahead for the first time two minutes later. However Bernard Sammut restored equilibrium four minutes from time.
