Leaders Swieqi United stay one point ahead of Santa Lucia as the two teams shared the spoils in a goalless draw in a direct clash from the BOV Second Division at the Luxol Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile Siggiewi moved to just one point behind Santa Lucia and two behind Swieqi thanks to a 5-0 win over St. George’s. Jake Vella put Siggiewi ahead on the 18th and Kim Buhagiar doubled the score on the 33rd. Ian Montanaro increased the lead on the 72nd and following a Jason Camilleri goal on the 85th, Montanaro added another one minute in added time.

Swieqi lead the way with 32 points, followed by Santa Lucia on 31, Siggiewi 30, Gudja and Fgura 27, Birzebbuga and Kalkara 26, Marsaxlokk 25, Mgarr 19, Luqa 14, Attard 10, St. George’s 6 and Gharghur 3.
