Malta to face Armenia, Georgia and Moldova in friendly matches

Malta will play friendly matches against Armenia, Georgia and Moldova during their training camp in Austria in the May-June period.

The national team will first meet Armenia on May 29, Georgia on June 1 and Moldova on June 4.

The friendly matches and the training camp in Austria are intended to optimise the national team’s preparations, under the guidance of coach Tom Saintfiet, for the inaugural edition of the UEFA Nations League.

Malta has been drawn in Group 3 of League D along with Azerbaijan, Faroe Islands and Kosovo with two matches being played during a five-day period over three consecutive months – September to November 2018.
