St. Andrews retained their Premier League status after earning the point they needed in a goalless draw with Tarxien Rainbows at the National Stadium. A result which leaves the Rainbows third from bottom, meaning that they will be facing Zejtun Corinthians in the Play-Off.
The Rainbows went close to taking the lead on the 21st minute when Eduard Calin hit the crossbar with a freekick from the right and on the 35th minute, Sean Cipriott’s cross shot from the left fell on the crossbar before being cleared into safety.

At the Centenary Stadium, Naxxar Lions scored three in the first half to beat Senglea Athletic 3-0 but victory was not enough to avoid the second place from bottom and therefore relegation to Division 1.
Naxxar took the lead on the 7th minute thanks to Yuri de Jesus Messias who received a through pass by Daniel Mateo Bustos and after having a first attempt blocked by Jurgen Borg, he placed the ball at the back of the net with a fine acrobatic shot.
Five minutes later, the Lions doubled the score thanks to a Yuri de Jesus Messias freekick which beat the Senglea goalkeeper.
Naxxar increased the lead on the 33rd minute as Manolito Micallef headed the ball home off a Bustos corner.

At the Hibernians Stadium, a goal just before half-time gave ten-man Mosta a narrow win over Sliema Wanderers which enabled them to join Senglea Athletic in ninth place on the 26-point mark.
Mosta forged ahead just before half-time when off a cross by Thomas Veronese, Giordano Trovade slotted the ball past goalkeeper Glenn Zammit.
On the 65th minute, Mosta were reduced to ten men after Zachary Brincat picked a second yellow card.
