Tarxien Rainbows and Zejtun Corinthians will be fighting for a place in the Premier League next season as the two teams cross swords in the BOV Premier League Play-Off at the Hibernians Stadium on Friday, kick-off at 19:00.

The Rainbows placed third from bottom on 23 points with six wins and five draws from twenty six matches. Zejtun Corinthians, on the other hand, finished third in the BOV First Division on 48 points with fourteen wins and six draws from twenty six matches.

Zejtun aim at making history as they chase their first promotion to the top division. Tarxien, on the other hand, hope to extend their stay after winning promotion to the Premier League in 2007/08.
