Birkirkara renewed the contract of former Macedonian international goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski. Naumovski joined the club in January and soon proved himself as a key player for the team. Throughout his career, Naumovski played for Rabotnicki Skopje in Macedonia, Dinamo Bucharest in Romania, Levski Sofia in Bulgaria and Pegasus FC in Hong Kong.
