Vince Carbonaro appointed Sirens FC coach

First Division side Sirens FC have appointed Vince Carbonaro as the Senior Coach for the coming season.  Mr Carbonaro requires no introduction with Maltese football enthusiasts as he has been at the helm of various clubs such as Naxxar Lions FC, Qormi FC and Mosta FC, to name a few.  He also had a spell with the National Under 17 squad.

Carbonaro will be assisted by Eamon Bugeja, who will also be taking duties as Youths Coach.

The main aim for the upcoming season is to consolidate the Club’s position in the First Division. 

Meanwhile the Committee for Season 2018/2019 was formed as follows: President: Mr Mark Borg Hedley; Vice President: Mr John Sant; Vice President: Mr Mario Pisani; Secretary: Mr David Muscat; Treasurer: Mr Ivan Bugeja; Asst. Secretary: Mr Terrance Formosa; Team Manager: Mr Kevin D’Amato; MFA Council Member: Mr Carmel Cardona and members Mr Philip Attard and Mr Gilbert Camilleri. Mr Keith Muscat is the Club Administrator.

As part of the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary from the foundation of the club (1968 – 2018), Sirens FC are organising the Golden Jubilee Pre-Season Tournament.  The tournament shall take place at the Sirens Stadium between the 14th and 23rd August 2018.  Only one slot remains available. Sirens FC announced that an agreement was reached with Teamsport, one of Malta’s leading retail sports outlets, as regards to the team’s clothing, equipment and accessories.  This agreement covers also the Sirens Football Nursery.
