Birkirkara continue to strengthen their squad with the signing of Brazilian central defender Eduardo dos Santos. He signed a one-year deal. The signing of the twenty-two year old defender, who played for Jabaquara, Ceara and Guarani in Brasil, follows that of Paul Fenech, Marcelinho, Uchenna Calistus Umeh and Terence Agius who all joined the club earlier
