San Gwann registered a second consecutive win in the BOV First Division as they defeated Mqabba 3-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday.

Following a goalless first half, Sergio Hili put San Gwann ahead on the 54th minute. Four minutes later, Godwin Blessing Henshaw doubled the score and Jean Paul Attard sealed the issue with a third goal two minutes from time.

In another match, a goal by Abubakar Bello-Osagie on the 4th minute handed Lija Athletic a narrow win over Zebbug Rangers at the Luxol Stadium.

Santa Lucia lead the way with 19 points, followed by Sirens on 18, Lija 16, Gudja 14, Swieqi, Vittoriosa and Zebbug 13, Pembroke and Mqabba 12, Qrendi and Naxxar 11, Zejtun 8, San Gwann 6 and Marsa 5.
