New signings for Pietà Hotspurs

Pietà Hotspurs strengthened their squad with the signing of two new foreigners – Serbian defender Stefan Radovanovic and Nigerian midfielder Uchenna Calistus Umeh.

Twenty-six year old Stefan Radovanovic has been playing in Malta for the past year as he had joined Tarxien Rainbows in the January 2018 transfer window. He had started his career at Crvena Zvezda and later played for FK Zemun, FK Mladost, Borac Cacak, FK Radnik Surdulica and FK Novi Pazar in Serbia, FK Mornar Bar and OFK Petrovac in Montenegro.

Twenty-seven year old Uchenna Umeh moved to Malta in summer 2015 after playing for Ekranas in Lithuania to join Valletta with whom he won two championships. He moved to Birkirkara last summer.

Earlier this week, the club released Japanese midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura.
