Three new signings for Tarxien

Tarxien Rainbows strengthened their squad with the signing of Siraj Arab Eddin on loan from Balzan, Thomas Veronese and Juan Cruz Gill.

A product of Pembroke Athleta, twenty-four year old striker Siraj Arab Eddin moved to Valletta but spent two years on loan with Vittoriosa Stars. In summer 2014, he joined Pembroke Athleta on loan, eventually making a definite transfer to the club from Valletta in summer 2016. However in January 2017, Arab moved to Hamrun Spartans and after one year at the club, he was transferred to Balzan in January 2018.

Thirty-two year old left back Thomas Veronese had moved to Malta in summer 2017 to join Mosta FC, helping them to secure their Premier League status. He moved to Gzira United last summer but was released earlier this week. In Italy, he started his career with Venezia and then played for Belluno, Trento, Sudtirol, Bassano, Montichiari, ASC St. Georgen, Mezzocorona, Marano, Trento and Mestre.

Thirty-five year old central defender Juan Cruz Gill started his career at CA Tallares de Cordoba in Argentina but had spells with Deportes Melipilla in Chile, Ermis Aradippou in Cyprus, Estudiantes in Colombia, Union Temuco, Deportes Temuco and CDSC Iberia in Chile before joining Valletta in summer 2015.
