St Mirren youths defeat Malta Under-19, Under-17 sides

Scottish side St Mirren’s youths team registered two wins in two friendly matches against the Malta Under-19 and the Malta Under-17 national teams respectively at the Centenary Stadium.

On Sunday, St Mirren defeated the Under-19 national team 3-1. The visitors took the lead but Paul Mbong levelled matters. However St Mirren were quick to regain the lead and seal the issue late in the game.

MALTA U-19 Amara Sylla, Sheldon Mizzi (65 Jean Paul Attard), Andreas Vella (77 Ismael Borg), Liam McKay, Carlo Zammit Lonardelli (80 Jordan Kelly), Shaun Dimech, Clyde Bouvet, Karl Mohnani (46 Bradley Sciberras), Paul Mbong, Jake Ghio (65 Sebastian Grech), Ryan Tonna (65 Isaac Galea).

On the other hand, St Mirren registered a 6-0 win over the Malta Under-17 side on Wednesday.
