Hamrun Spartans goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo was suspended for two matches while Andrew Scicluna (Fgura) and Matthew Spiteri (Tarxien) were banned for one match by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after the fourth round of the FA Trophy.

Since Hamrun and Fgura were eliminated, Bartolo and Scicluna will be serving the bans in league matches. Matthew Spiteri, on the other hand, will miss the quarter-final against Balzan.

Hamrun Spartans coach Giovanni Tedesco was banned for ten matches while team manager Gaetano Giovanni Farruggio was suspended for one match. Tarxien official Edward Calleja was handed a one-match ban.
