Fgura United moved top of the BOV Second Division table as they defeated Zabbar St. Patrick 2-0 at the Luxol Stadium on Saturday.

Giovanni Galea put Fgura ahead on the 69th minute and Gilbert Martin sealed the issue with a goal on the 90th minute.

In another match, Siggiewi and Luqa St. Andrew’s shared the spoils in a goalless draw in a clash between the bottom two teams.

Fgura lead the way with 40 points, followed by Marsaxlokk on 39, St. George’s 37, Birzebbuga and Mgarr 34, Rabat 28, Melita 27, Mellieha 15, Zabbar, Kalkara and Sta. Venera 13, Siggiewi 12 and Luqa 9.
