Zurrieq keep marching on towards promotion thanks to a narrow win over Dingli Swallows at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.

A penalty by Claudio Calleja on the 90th handed Zurrieq the three points.

In another match, Kirkop United and Ta’ Xbiex shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Jean Paul Abdilla put Ta’ Xbiex ahead on the 35th but Ayrton Buhagiar equalised just before half-time. Edward Grima restored the lead for Ta’ Xbiex on the 80th but Clive Fenech restored equilibrium on the 90th.
