The Malta Football Referees Association issued a statement in which they announced that they had withdrawn the directive calling for a strike after the Malta Football Association agreed on an increase in fees for match officials.

The MFRA thanked the four members that have represented the MFRA in these negotiations.

All matches will therefore be played as scheduled.

The Malta Football Referees Association would like to announce that after six very difficult months we have been awarded a much deserved increase.
The MFRA would like to thank the four members that have represented the Association in such negotiations.
Now is the time to focus on the last games of the season and to move on.
