Five young Maltese players in Stoke for an international experience

Five young Maltese players from International Football Academy Malta have today set out to Stoke on Trent for an international experience where they shall be training with several regional clubs from the Stoke on Trent Area, Stoke City FC Academy and Stoke City FC Futsal coaches.

This opportunity was made possible through the ongoing collaboration between IFA Malta and Stoke City FC. CJ Buttigieg and Isen Dimech from Floriana FC, Nathan Agius from Mosta FC, Matthias Conti from Pieta Hotspurs FC and Glending Farrugia from Birkirkara FC were chosen by qualified Scouts and Coaches amongst the participants of the Stoke City FC Summer Camp which took place in July.

Nathan Agius, Glending Farrugia and Matthias Conti also make part of the National Team setup in their respective age.

These 5 youth players shall not only take part in training sessions which will be performed under the watch full eye of scouts and coaches from Stoke City FC’s Academy and other academies from the Midlands but they shall also have an insight of the Club, watch professional matches and visit the A Class Academy at Stoke.

The duration of this experience shall be from the 4th till the 8th April 2019.
