The Malta Football Association announced that the BOV Premier League Championship Decider between Valletta and Hibernians will be played on Saturday 4th May at the National Stadium at 16:00.

Extra time has to played if the game is still draw after the 90 minutes. If, after the end of the extra time the result is still draw, penalty kicks shall be taken in accordance with The Laws of the Game.

For this reason, a number of changes to the FA Trophy were necessary.

The quarter-final between Tarxien Rainbows and Balzan will be played on Friday 3rd May at the Hibernians Stadium, kick-off at 19:00. The quarter-final between Hibernians and Valletta will be played on Wednesday 8th at the National Stadium, kick-off at 18:30. The semi-finals are now scheduled for Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 at the National Stadium, both matches kicking-off at 17:00. The final, on the other hand, will be played on Saturday 18th May at the National Stadium, kick-off at 17:00.
