Silvio Vella names squad for Under-21 friendly match

Malta Under-21 coach Silvio Vella named the 20-man squad for the friendly match against Bosnia Herzegovina at the National Stadium on Wednesday, kick-off at 18:00.

This game will serve as preparation ahead of the first four Under-21 Championship matches away from home against Northern Ireland and Ukraine in October, Finland in October and Denmark in November. In March, Malta defeated Turkmenistan 2-1 but lost 0-1 to Kosovo.

From the provisional squad, Vella dropped Maverick Buhagiar, Dejan Debono, Marcus Grima and Jamie Zerafa.
