Floriana secured the services of Argentinean striker Augusto René Cáseres.

Cáseres is the third former Senglea Athletic player to join the Greens after Vincenzo Potenza was appointed as new coach. He follows Matias Nicolas Garcia and Francisco Diego Venancio da Silva.

A product of Club Atletico Belgrano, the 21-year old striker had joined Senglea Athletic in summer 2017 after a spell in Italy with Viareggio. He spent the last two years with Senglea, helping them retain their Premier League status.

Floriana had earlier signed Tiago Adan Fonseca and Brandon Diego Paiber whilst retaining Ulises Jesús Arias and Kristian Keqi.
