Italian defender Enrico Pepe joined Birkirkara FC, signing a three-year deal with the club.

Pepe has been playing in Malta for the past four years after spending three years with Floriana and last year with Hamrun Spartans.

The twenty-nine year old started his career with Campobasso and later played for Salernitana, Cassino, Siracusa, Paganese and ACR Messina.
