Mdina Knights FC is pleased to announce the re-engagement of David Attard as Head Coach for the forthcoming season.

Both parties are keen to build on the very strong finish to season 2018/19 with the team losing just once in the final twelve games. This strong finish kept the Knights in contention for the third spot in the table up until the final two matches of the season.

Club President Francesco Apap Bologna commented “David is a young, enthusiastic coach and he has created a strong group of players that came to the fore in the second half of last season. Our aim is to retain the nucleus of this team and re-enforce it with additional signings to create a squad capable of challenging for promotion in season 2019/20”.

“I am honoured to extend my association with Mdina Knights, the Club I joined four seasons ago as a player,” said Attard, adding “The Club and myself share similar values and harbour similar ambitions. Our aim is to become more competitive and aspire for a higher level of football”.
