The BOV Second Division 2019/20 kicked-off on Thursday with the first two matches at the Centenary Stadium.

Newly-promoted Xghajra Tornados registered a 3-1 win over Luqa St. Andrew’s. Royter Degiorgio opened the score on the 7th minute, Nestor Luis Silva Canas doubled the scoring on the 18th minute and four minutes later, Degiorgio added another to put Xghajra three goals ahead. Just before half-time, Gilbert Camilleri pulled one back for Luqa.

In another match, a goal by Yessous Camilleri on the 59th minute handed Kalkara United a narrow win over Marsaxlokk.
