International experience at Stoke Academy for Maltese youngsters

Nine youngsters from Malta and Gozo have today started an International experience at Stoke City FC Academy, were they shall be training and playing football matches/tournaments under the guidance of top youth coaches and under the eyes of numerous scouts from top English football clubs. These young players will be playing against other foreign players who are also on trial at Stoke and British players as well.

This opportunity was made possible through the ongoing collaboration between IFA Malta and Stoke City FC as these players were chosen during the yearly summer camp organized by International Football Academy Malta. Brayden Muscat from Nadur Youngsters FC, Aleandro Farrugia from Zurrieq Wolves FC Youth Nursery, Jan Grech from Luxol St. Andrews FC, Kristen Camilleri, a Gozitan who is registered with Mosta FC, Mattiaz Ancilleri, Daniel Mangion and Kaylon Zammit, all hailing from Pieta’ Hotspurs FC, Liam Buhagiar from Kirkop FC and Julian Jablonski from Sliema Wanderers FC.

The group left Malta yesterday and will start an intensive programme of training, matches and tournaments at the state-of-the-art Academy of Stoke City FC. They shall also be assisting to a number of Academy and Under 23 Premier League matches and a Championship match making it a total football experience.
