Valletta were held in a 4-4 draw by the University of Malta Futsal Team in a match from the Elite Championship.

George Frendo scored twice for the Citizens with Jovica Milijic and Mohammed Lamari scoring the other two goals. Dylan Musu notched a brace for University while Gabriel Buckson and Ervin Rigo scored the the other goals.

Luxol lead the way with 24 points, followed by Valletta on 16, University of Malta 7 and Swieqi United 3.

The futsal league will resume on Friday 7th February 2020, as the Malta Futsal National Team will be in action in the UEFA Futsal EURO 2022 Qualifiers. Malta will be hosting Group C which features Poland, Sweden and Greece apart from Malta.
