Hamrun, Senglea seek precious points

Hamrun Spartans and Senglea Athletic seek precious points from the BOV Premier League clash in programme at the National Stadium on Monday, kick-off at 19:00.

The Spartans returned to winning ways last Monday as they defeated Sirens 2-1. This win put them in seventh place on the 22-point mark which they share with Balzan and Mosta.

Senglea, on the other hand, failed to win any of their last ten matches but earned four points in draws from the last five matches. They are currently second from bottom on 16 points, four behind Santa Lucia and Sliema and five behind Gudja.

On Monday, Senglea could not count on the suspended Elvis Sakyi and Anderson Carneiro do Nascimento.

In the first round, Hamrun defeated Senglea 3-1.
