In light of the on-going developments regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Malta Football Association Bureau will hold an urgent meeting this evening to further assess the situation while pursuing further discussions with all the stakeholders.

Earlier on Thursday, the association had announced that matches were to be played behind closed doors.

Meanwhile the Malta Football Players Association said in a statement that A number of players had contacted the MFPA and expressed their concern about the spread of the coronavirus.
