Vito Plut joins Tarxien Rainbows

Tarxien Rainbows secured the services of former Floriana and Birkirkara striker Vito Plut.

After starting his career with NK Kolpa, Plut, who is now aged 31, played for FC Koper, NK Maribor and ND Gorica in Slovenia, Waasland-Beveren in Belgium and 1. FC Saarbrücken in Germany. Vito Plut moved to Malta in 2014 to join Floriana. He signed for Birkirkara the following season, spending two years with the Stripes before moving to FSV Frankfurt in Germany where he spent the last three years.

Tarxien had earlier signed Jurgen Borg and Jurgen Debono and confirmed Brandon Muscat for another season. Winston Muscat have been appointed as their new coach with Adrian Buttigieg as his assistant, Matthew Towns as goalkeepers’ coach and Denni Rocha dos Santos as technical director.
