Gzira United signed Colombian midfielder Jackson Usuga Mendoza on a two-year deal.

The twenty two year old joins Gzira from Santa Lucia where he spent the last two years, making his Premier League debut last season.

The Maroons, who have re-appointed Darren Abdilla as their coach, have earlier signed Steve Borg, Kevaughn Atkinson and Ricardo Calixto Correa Duarte. Jefferson Assis, on the other hand, will be back with Gzira after a spell with Al Fujairah in the UAE.
