Santa Lucia signed Malta Under-21 international goalkeeper Andreas Vella.

The twenty one year old goalkeeper started his career at San Gwann, moving to Qormi in summer 2013 with whom he made his Premier League debut in August 2015. In summer 2016, he was transferred to Birkirkara but in January 2017, he joined Mosta where he spent the last three and a half years.

Earlier Santa Lucia signed midfielder Jamie Zerafa and Brazilian striker Aldan da Silva Souza and confirmed Oliver Spiteri as coach.
