Senglea Athletic have appointed Goran Nikic as their new coach. He replaces Vladan Tomic who spent just a few weeks in charge after taking over from Giorgio Roselli in February.

Nikic, who had short spells with Ghaxaq and Marsaxlokk in the nineties as a player, started his coaching career at FK Železnik and then worked for Serbian sides FK Kolubara Lazarevac, FK Sopot Belgrade, FK Budućnost, FK Dinamo Vranje, FK Jedinstvo Paraćin and the Red Star Belgrade Academy before moving to the USA where he coached New England FC and the Valeo academy

Nikic will be assisted by assistant coach Ryan Newell.
