Tarxien Rainbows continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Brazilian defender Anderson do Nascimento Carneiro.

The 27 year old joined Senglea last season after playing for 4 de Julho, Horizonte, Operario FC and Boa Esporte in Brazil.

Tarxien had earlier signed Jurgen Borg, Jurgen Debono, Kyle Gatt, Karl Pulo, Luke Sciberras, Vito Plut, Ricardo Pires and goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes while confirming Brandon Muscat, Daren Falzon and Daniel Zerafa. Winston Muscat has been appointed as their new coach.
