UEFA Europa League second qualifying round draw to be held on Monday

Floriana and Hibernians will be representing Malta in the UEFA Europa League second qualifying draw on Monday at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland at 13:00.

After being eliminated from the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round following a 0-2 defeat to CFR Cluj, Floriana enter the Champions Path of the UEL second qualifying round.

The Greens will be among twenty teams in the draw, the others being FK Astana of Kazakhstan, Dundalk of Ireland, Slovan Bratislava of Slovakia, Dinamo Tbilisi of Georgia, CS Fola Esch of Luxembourg, Djurgardens IF of Sweden, Linfield of Ireland, Buducnost Podgorica of Montenegro, Flora Tallinn of Estonia, Riga FC of Latvia, Connah’s Quay of Wales, Europa FC of Gibraltar, Ararat-Armenia of Armenia, KuPS Kuopio of Finland, KR Reykjavik of Iceland, Sileks Kratovo of North Macedonia, Tre Fiori of San Marino, FC Drita of Kosovo and Inter Club d’Escaldes of Andorra.

Meanwhile following an impressive 2-0 win away from home over FC Vaduz of Liechtenstein, who play in the Swiss Super League, Hibernians will feature in the Main Path of the UEL second qualifying round.
