After spending last season with SC Olhanense, Malta international defender Zach Muscat will be staying in Portugal but will play for second division side Casa Pia AC.

A product of Pietà Hotspurs, Muscat joined Birkirkara in 2012. His first experience abroad was with Akragas, joining them in January 2016. The following season, he moved to Arezzo where he spent two years, helping his team avoid relegation despite the club’s financial troubles. In 2018, he joined Pistoiese, signing a two-year deal but moved to SC Olhanense. He helped the club finish top in its section but were denied promotion to the LigaPro.
