Mqabba and Swieqi United registered identical 2-1 wins in two matches from the BOV Challenge League which were played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.

In the first match, Mqabba came from behind to defeat Zebbug Rangers 2-1.

Luka Mijic put Zebbug ahead on the 49th minute but Gabriel Nazareno Mannino equalised on the 67th and Johan Alberto Castano notched a dramatic winner for Mqabba one minute in added time.

In another match, Swieqi United beat St. George’s

Alan Schembri Wismayer opened the score for Swieqi on the 15th but David Rojas Serna equalised four minutes in the second half. Joseph Willy made it 2-1 for Swieqi four minutes later.
