Floriana aim at bouncing back after defeat to Hibernians

After losing 1-3 to Hibernians, champions Floriana will be hoping to bounce back on Thursday as they take on Sirens in one of the four BOV Premier League matches in programme at the Centenary Stadium and the National Stadium.

All matches are being played behind closed doors. but fans are able to watch games thanks to the live-streaming service being offered by the Malta Football Association at https://live.mfa.com.mt/ apart from the usual two weekly matches which are broadcast on TVM 2 and/or TSN.

Floriana FC vs Sirens FC, kick-off 17:00 at Centenary Stadium

The Greens defeated Gzira 2-1 in their first outing but lost to Hibernians on Sunday and are therefore eager to return to winning ways on Thursday. On the other hand, Sirens suffered a heavy defeat to Hamrun Spartans in their first outing but then held Sliema Wanderers in a goalless draw.

Thiago Espindola de Paula is ruled out for Sirens as he serves a one-match ban.

Mosta FC vs Balzan FC, kick-off 17:00 at National Stadium

Mosta hope to extend their unbeaten run following a 2-2 draw with Gudja United and a fine 3-0 win over Birkirkara. Balzan, on the other hand, defeated Tarxien Rainbows 1-0 in their first outing but then lost narrowly to Valletta last weekend.

Balzan could not count on the suspended Eric McWoods.

Sliema Wanderers FC vs Santa Lucia FC, kick-off 21:15 at Centenary Stadium

Sliema Wanderers aim at returning to winning ways as they take on Santa Lucia. The Wanderers defeated Hibernians 3-1 but were then held in a goalless draw by Sirens. Santa Lucia, on the other hand, lost 1-4 to Hamrun Spartans during the weekend following a 2-2 draw with Zejtun Corinthians in their first outing.

Zejtun Corinthians FC vs Gudja United FC, kick-off 21:15 at National Stadium

Zejtun Corinthians hope to extend their unbeaten record as they take on Gudja United. The Corinthians earned two points in draws with Santa Lucia and Senglea Athletic. Gudja, on the other hand, earned a point in a draw with Gudja but then defeated Lija Athletic 2-0.
