Floriana target third win

The BOV Premier League will be back this weekend after the international break. Floriana will be aiming for a third win in four matches as they face Santa Lucia in one of the two matches in programme at the Centenary Stadium Friday. In the other match, Gzira United meet Mosta.

All matches are being played behind closed doors. but fans are able to watch games thanks to the live-streaming service being offered by the Malta Football Association at https://live.mfa.com.mt/ apart from the usual two weekly matches which are broadcast on TVM 2 and/or TSN.

Gzira United FC vs Mosta FC, kick-off 17:00 at Centenary Stadium

The Maroons registered their first win in their last outing as they defeated Valletta 3-1 after collecting just one point in a loss to Floriana and a draw with Tarxien. Mosta, on the other hand, are still unbeaten following a 2-2 draw with Gudja, a 3-0 win over Mosta and a 3-3 draw with Balzan.

Santa Lucia FC vs Floriana FC, kick-off 21:15 at Centenary Stadium

The Greens defeated Gzira 2-1 and lost 1-3 to Hibernians but bounced back with a 3-2 win over Sirens. Santa Lucia, on the other hand, earned a point in 2-2 draw in the first match against Zejtun but then lost 1-4 to Hamrun Spartans and 1-3 to Sliema Wanderers.

Nicola Leone is ruled out as he serves a one-match ban.
