Hibernians, Valletta target third win

Hibernians and Valletta will be aiming for a third win on Sunday as they cross swords in the big match from match day 4 of the BOV Premier League at the National Stadium, kick-off at 15:00.

Hibs lost 1-3 to Sliema in their first outing but bounced back with a 3-1 win over Floriana and a narrow win over neighbours Tarxien. Valletta, on the other hand, defeated Birkirkara 4-2 and Balzan 1-0 but lost 1-3 to Gzira in their last outing.

Meanwhile in the second match, kick-off at 19:15, Senglea Athletic take on Sliema Wanderers.

Senglea lost 0-4 to Lija in their first outing and after a 1-1 draw with Zejtun, suffered a 0-3 defeat to Hamrun. Sliema, on the other hand, defeated Hibernians 3-1 and following a goalless draw with Sirens, beat Santa Lucia 3-1.
