Second win in five days for Santa Lucia

After beating Floriana 2-1, Santa Lucia collected another three points as they defeated Tarxien Rainbows 2-0 at the National Stadium on Tuesday.

Santa Lucia took the lead six minutes from the end of the first half, Santa Lucia managed to break the deadlock when off a good move between Jamie Zerafa and Alan da Silva Souza, Kevin Ante Rosero received the ball inside the area and hit home past goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes.

Santa Lucia doubled the score on the 68th minute when substitute Michael Camilleri’s cross from the right was deflected by Anderson do Nascimento Carneiro past Daniel Fernandes for an own goal.
