Marsa came from behind to beat Naxxar Lions 4-1 in a match from the BOV Challenge League at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Sunday.
Eriks da Silva Ferreira put Naxxar ahead on the 41st minute but Patrick Jean Teixeira Maia equalised on the 68th. Substitute Paulo Santos de Azevedo made it 2-1 for Marsa on the 79th minute and a brace by another substitute, Lydon Micallef, sealed the issue with goals on the 82nd and 84th.
Marsaxlokk, on the other hand, registered a second consecutive win as they beat Mqabba 1-0 courtesy of a Peter Xuereb goal on the 63rd minute.
