Marsa registered a second consecutive win in the BOV Challenge League as they defeated Qormi 5-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Sunday.
Dylan Grima put Marsa ahead just past the half hour and Lydon Micallef doubled the score six minutes later. Micallef added another twelve minutes in the second half before Francesco Gusman and Godwin Mckay extended the lead with goals on the 72nd and 83rd.
Marsaxlokk, on the other hand, registered a 3-0 win over Qrendi to move third, four points behind leaders San Gwann but with two games in hand.
Pablo Doffo put Marsaxlokk ahead on the 32nd minute. Dennis Cartella doubled the score five minutes in the second half and one minute from time, Peter Xuereb sealed the issue with a third goal.
