One-match ban for three Premier League players

Three Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Bjorn Kristensen (Hibernians), Jamie Zerafa (Santa Lucia) and Lee Galea (Senglea) were all banned for one match.

Kristensen is ruled out of the clash with Sirens, Zerafa the game against Gzira and Galea the match against Balzan.

Sliema Wanderers president Jeffrey Farrugia was suspended for four matches.

In the Challenge League, Marsaxlokk coach Edgar Degabriele was banned for one match while in the National Amateur League, Timothy Muscat (Gharghur), Duane Carabott (Ghaxaq) and Zachary Tanti (Rabat) were handed a one-match ban.
