The BOV Challenge League clash between St. Andrews and Marra which was being played at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday was abandoned on the 62nd minute due to a power cut which hit several parts of the island.
Lydon Micallef put Marsa ahead on the 20th minute and Dylan Grima doubled the score on the 32nd. Just before the power cut, Marsa were about to take a penalty but the lights went off.
Referee Matthew De Gabriele abandoned the game and in accordance with the competition rules, the match will resume at a later date from the 62nd minute.
Meanwhile in another match, Fgura United and St. George’s shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
