Domoraud brace paves way for Sirens win

Sirens bounced back from the mid-week defeat to Santa Lucia as a brace by Wilfried Domoraud paved the way for a 3-1 win over Gudja United at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.

A win which enables Sirens to join Santa Lucia in the eighth place on 15 points while Gudja missed out on the opportunity to join Hibernians on top the BOV Premier League table.

Sirens took the lead on the 19th minute when Imanol Gonzalez handled the ball inside the area and from the penalty spot, Wilfried Domoraud converted.

Wilfried Domoraud doubled the score four minutes from the end of the first half when he pounced on a back pass by Jurgen Farrugia from midfield and finished off his run with an angled shot from the right which beat Gudja goalkeeper Glenn Zammit.
