Sliema Wanderers forward Jean Paul Farrugia was voted BOV Player of the Month for November 2020.

The presentation was held on Wednesday before the BOV Premier League match between Sliema Wanderers and Mosta. Bernard Azzopardi, Manager at BOV Sliema Branch presented the BOV Player of the Month trophy to Farrugia in the presence of MFA Vice-President Dr Matthew Paris. The player selected the Ursuline Creche to benefit from the donation associated with this award.

Throughout the month of November, Jean Paul Farrugia was on target in the three matches played by the Blues – two goals in a 3-1 win over Balzan, one goal in a 2-3 defeat to Gzira and another goal in a 4-1 win over Lija.

Farrugia also made his return for the Malta national team as he was included as a substitute in the 3-0 win over Liechtenstein in a friendly match, scoring a penalty six minutes from time.
