BOV Amateur League: Luqa move top in Section B as Rabat are held in draw by Mtarfa

Luqa St. Andrew’s are the new leaders in Group B of the BOV National Amateur League following a 4-0 win over Zabbar St. Patrick at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday.

Mark Farrugia put Edmond Lufi’s side ahead on the 42nd minute. Five minutes in the second half, Chibuzor Lucky Nwaogu doubled the score. Mario Jude Dominicius increased the lead on the 58th with Nwaogu adding another three minutes in added time.

Rabat Ajax drop to second place following a 1-1 draw in the derby with Mtarfa.

A Daniel Cremona penalty just before half-time put Mtarfa ahead but Neil Caruana restored equilibrium on the 75th minute.
