Santa Lucia signed twenty-three year old striker Augusto René Cáseres on loan from Floriana.

A product of Club Atletico Belgrano, Caseres had joined Senglea Athletic in summer 2017 after a spell in Italy with Viareggio. He spent two years with Senglea, helping them retain their Premier League status. He joined Floriana in summer 2019 with whom he won the championship. Last summer, he moved to Gudja United on loan.
