Two new signings for Tarxien

Tarxien Rainbows continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Ivan Edgardo Paz and Raphael Kooh Sohna.

Twenty-four year old Argentine midfielder Ivan Edgardo Paz is a product of CA Belgrano. He moved to Malta in summer 2016 to join St. Andrews where he spent one year. The following season, he moved to Senglea Athletic. Paz moved back to Argentina in season 2018/19 where he played for Belgrano and last year, he started the season with Estudiantes before returning back to Malta to join Marsaxlokk in January.

On the other hand, thirty year old Cameroonian striker Raphael Kooh Sohna played in Tunisa for Stade Africain Menzel Bourguiba before joining Pieta’ Hotspurs in summer 2012. He spent two years, moving to Valletta in summer 2014. His stay was short-lived as in January 2015, he moved to JS Kabylie in Algeria. He later had a spell with Lion Blesse de Fotoumi in Cameroon. Kooh Sohna moved back to Malta in summer 2015 to join Gzira United and last played for Ghajnsielem, Pembroke Athleta, Lija Athletic, Gudja United and Attard before re-joining Gzira in October.

The Rainbows had earlier signed Carlos Chabá and Erisa Keith Ssekisambu.
